For those of you that follow me (thanks again for that, by the way 
), I thought I'd give you a picture of what to expect for the immediate future.
First off, for those of you who don't know, Sunset Fon Fabre is putting on a Hypnotic Pairings contest which I'll be participating in. Anyone who's a fan of the hypno/mind control genre should go and check that out, as there's a lot of flexibility and quite a few possible pairings. I'll also be judging (though not in the category I'm competing in, of course!), and we're sorely in need of participants, so if you have even a passing interest or desire in contributing, give it a shot! In the words of Ms. Frizzle, let's take chances, make mistakes, and get messy! (Boy does that ever open some cloppy doors.)
Speaking of cloppy, I'll probably be making my first foray into that realm with a cloptional chapter for the Chrysalight story I'm writing for the contest. I won't lie, apart from a roleplay or two, it's completely uncharted territory for me, so any pointers would be appreciated.
Regarding the fic that's gotten me the most attention, the next chapter of Hypnotic Hijinks probably won't be out for a while. That said, I'm currently working on a side story to it that involves King Sombra in the days before Celestia and Luna brought him down. While I would technically consider it a part of Hypnotic Hijinks, this one's gonna be darker than a lump of coal on an ebony raft in an oil slick in a hurricane, and as such I'm publishing it separately so that I don't have to up the rating of HH to mature. It'll be interesting to see how that one is received, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having a good time exploring the more twisted aspects of the psyche by writing it. *Shivers* Ugh, that sounded weird.
