[03/02/15 – 8:25:51 PM] Comet Burst: OOOOOMMMMMGGGG!
Okay, this might have been just a wee bit anticipated by some of my friends. I was notorious for procrastinating my project in the past. Fortunately I’ve gotten out of that slump, and have been making really good progress.
Amelioration is part of a series of stories I have been working on for… just a little while…
(Highlighted is the first digital copy of my designs for this story.)
That’s a little over 90 pages of font ranging from size 8 to 11. 46k+ of words. It was a lot of writing, and very little sleep. And now here I am. One month shy of three years later I have finally posted the first chapter.
Now as for the story itself, I do not have a writing or posting “schedule” per se. But! I will continue to actively work on it. So I’m humoring the idea of a progress bar of sorts, where I will keep information on the progress of upcoming chapters found somewhere on my profile. To those of you who actually read this blog and are interested in the story, what's your vote on this idea?
The story is actually planned out to the end, sans some of the finer details. It's just a matter of keeping at the writing and not falling back into old habits of doubting everything and changing it all again and again. Fortunately I have some people to talk to now whose feedback has helped keep that from happening.
And I'd like to thank some people while I'm at it.

Albino and Comet have been good friends, and talking to them can be a real blast. Thank you guys for your support and occasional feedback.
Nunya is a good friend, my best friend's special somepony, and an old underclassmen. She had been one of my main "pre-readers" so to say, and has seen more rewrites than most peoples' sanity could take. I thank you for the time you've put into reading all those variations of the same story, time and time again, and for your eyes on catching off things that had otherwise slipped past me.

These two are both new friends of mine, and have been my source of motivation as of late. I can't thank the both of you enough for your time and support. Had I not found the two of you, I would probably still be rewriting the beginning of my story, never satisfied with the results.
My friends, who have acted as pre-readers for me during this time have frequently voiced desire for my blood. I thank you for your god-like patience, or at least your display of restraint.
Again, thank you all.
