A bit of a heads up · 11:10pm May 28th, 2015
Unfortunately, I don't think people will get notifications of blogs that are tagged to stories they follow, and since there is no longer a means to see who is following a story (seriously guys, can we have that back?) I can only let you who follow me know about this. I have been actively updating Amelioration. Yes, I know, I just posted chapter two, and I'm already re-writing it. But I think it's for the better.
As some pointed out, Ivory was not properly introduced. Now at one time there was a scene right after Trixie spoke with Celestia, where Trixie, Spike, and Ivory were all talking. This was going to be her introductory sequence. Then I forgot to put it in when I wrote the version of chapter 1 that you see here.
Well I was going to do something different because of this. I was going to drop hints of her here and there, and finally address her appearance in the beginning of act two, where some of the other characters took the time to actually look at her. Probably not the best way to introduce her fully, but it was a thought.
Well, I've decided to put in that scene I left out, and I will still give her a part in act two. You just get some "now" and some later.
Another reason for the re-write is a change in my writing style. Hopefully it reads better, but there is only so much one can do before they're running in circles, chasing their own tail.
Well, I hope you all like what I've done, and am actively doing with it, and I will be sure to let you all know when the updated chapters go up. I'm pretty sure that updates are another thing that you don't get notified on, so that'll be your heads-up.
Thanks to those who gave feedback! It's always nice to hear your thoughts, as it gives me something to consider as I work on it.
Actually people do not only get notifications of tagged blogs for stories they follow, but they get blog notifications for all stories in their bookshelves, "Read It Later" bookshelf included (unless "View Tagged Blogs" option for given bookshelf is manually disabled).
