Strange Days: Amelioration — Not a Trixie clone!

I figured this would need to be addressed at some point, and it seems I was correct. The question has been raised of if Amelioration is just a universe where Trixie plays the role of Twilight, and nothing else.

The simple answer is no.

The complicated answer is it’s complicated.

Yes. In this universe, this is a Trixie who grew up being trained by Princess Celestia. But once the story gets out of its first act, it begins to veer off the canonical path, almost drastically. The only problem is getting there.

I know that some people will not be willing to sit through the first act of this story to see what happens, and that’s fine. But the first act is needed to set things up for the rest of the story. There is a lot going on that I’ve not shown yet. If you don’t believe me, you can ask my good friends Bluegrass and Wintergreen. (Check them out!) They are both privy to the storyline and its inner workings, although if you do ask, don’t expect to get much insight. (No cheating, guys and gals. )

But for those of you who stick around through the first act while I set things up, I thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy the ride.

P.S. (minor spoilers): The first act ends with Nightmare Moon's defeat. At that point most of the story's hidden plot will be seeded, and the fun can truly begin.
