Well, I believe this year is out to kill me... or make me miserable... or maybe both.
So January saw me busy as hell with work despite the fact the holidays had ended. My managers seemed to have lost their ever loving minds... if some of them had them at all. I'm just glad this an't the army, otherwise I'd be dead in barbed wire after being told to charge a dozen MG nests. I managed to get little writing done all month, being to tired.
Then I've spent the majority of this month sick as a dog with some damned flu. Of course I had to work through it as I only have one call out left until June and work is looking for any excuse to ax us long timers.
So, that leaves us with no new chapter for another friggin month. Bah! At least I've managed to get some work done on it between coughing fits, and it's finally close to the 10k mark. I don't think this one will be much over 20k so I'm hoping to be able to put some hard work on it this month. Ugh... I'm sorry for failing again guys.
Now, onto something awesome! Behold what one of my readers had sent me... like six months ago.

As you can see in the picture, Shadow is not a little pony by any means, given those are dvd cases to his left. Oh, and Hoofbeats on the neighboring shelf. The scroll on the base reads, 'Be Relentless' which I think sums up Shadows personality in his quest perfectly.
