Jed On: AOA Rewrites and Additions

So: while AOA's spinoff and sequels are getting worked on (which is fun - slow work in some cases, but still fun :-) ) I'm working on a list of fixups and additions to make to AOA itself. The main focuses I have are on tweaking details and adding in sequences that should have been present, by which I mean things like Converted and Barrier not being capitalised in early chapters or the misuse of ranks or similar issues. A lot of AOA was thought up during writing, as a sort of "tale that grew in the telling", so there's some stuff that could do with a bit more foreshadowing as well.

Reason I'm putting this in a blog is twofold. One: I like keeping you lot informed :-) Two: if you guys have any scenes in AOA that you want to see (to clarify, stuff that fits the story and main characters, or the side characters that are focused on, not stuff that could fit in Tales of the War or Bittersweet Victory) or any little details you think might be interesting, let me know. I can't promise I'll add every suggestion you have (that would be impractical) but I'll look at 'em all. Equally, if there's a glaring error you've noticed and you've held back on telling me - well, nows your chance. :-)

The rewriting process will be slow, and most likely unheralded save by a note in the Author notes. I'm currently collating a list of changes and additions per chapter. Once that's done, I can start revising.
