New blog series I'm trying out. Tell me what you think · 8:42am Feb 18th, 2015

Here how this will work: When I'm having trouble with a chapter, I'll post a character bio for a character in the story I'm working on.

This bio won't explain everything, just be more comprehensive than the info.

First up Superman himself.

Home Universe: Universe/Earth 52 (not the New52 Earth/Prime Earth)
Powers:
[Speed-force connectivity] Clark actually connected to the speed-force (any one capable of at least mach 1 in his universe, is using the speed-force. At least in Clarks' universe). He just doesn't have the perfect connection Barry, Wally, and even Rainbow Dash have. So, while he can travel faster the light, he can't time travel or transverse dimensions under his own power. He can perform the Infinite Mass Punch, but not the vibro-hand Flashes/reverse-flashes can do. Nor can he do the Speed lend/steal technique, or phase through objects.

He has all other powers most versions of him have, with a few variations on them here or there.

Baseline stats(before solar energy is absorbed). Clark (and by extension, Kryptonains in general) with out powers is twice as strong/fast/durable as a human who has trained there body to the maximum limit it can take(example, the max a human can lift is around 800 lbs. So Clark can lift approximately 1600 lbs give or take) . Without his powers, He is resistant most diseases, save for the strongest of them.

This version also has access to a new form: Life-Equation form. The only real advantage this form has in battle is that it allows Clark to fight without the need to hold back or kill his opponent, or cause unnecessary property damage durring the battle with Darkseid. It also prevents the Anti-life Equation or anyone/thing from affecting anyones freewill or control while in his presence. Also give him the ability to remove any form of mind control from. It's other power is the most devastating- It allows the wielder to give something that has no soul, a soul. Though there is a price: the wielder must give up a small piece of his/her own soul in order for the equation to give said things without souls, a soul.

Weaknesses:
Magic: well I really didn't explain it the way I wanted. It basically works like this: all magic does work on him, but what it does depends on the will, powers, and skill of the the user, as well as the spell type and how familiar the caster is with krytonain physiology and the kind of magic used. Twilight could hurt Clark with her most powerful blast, same with Luna and Cadance. Celestia however, well solar energy is intertwined with her magic, so it would not only be useless and power him up a bit. At the same time, she could temporarily red shift the sun and her magic. This doesn't mean Celestia is weak, it means she must make a choice to beat if they ever fought (and no, they won't).

Psychics/mindcontrol (same as the in story explanation)

Kryptonite: It doesn't take away any powers besides his invulnerability, and causes vomiting/intense pain/fever and prolong can incapacitate him, if not outright kill him. Red does weird things (similar to pre-crisis, and the effects last 24 hours), and basically like poison joke to kryptonains. these are the only forms of kryptonite that exist.

If you want get the full backstory of thisversion of Clark/Superman , then tell me in the comments of this Blog. And also if I should proceed with more of these for both my fics (say so in the comments).

hmm... deathbattle?
superman vs goku. some discription :twilightsheepish:

2807184 I don't do death battle like things. However, with the new form Superman has in my story (though completely non-cannon), though goku would survive the battle, he'd think twice about actually fighting Superman again. I won't say that it's completely uneven. Just that this isn't Death Battle.

But, this is a quick bio on the characters' abilities. Not a complete character profile.

I assume you want Clark/Superman origin in the next blog post?

2807923 nah... Superman isn't my favourit actually....

I have to admit this DOES look like it could be a good series. I'm just sorry I took so long replying to this. :-D
