Where I've been...

Progress Report - and bonus art!!

The moving process has been delayed due to work dragging their feet on the transfer. Oh, also, the old car I was borrowing from a friend finally gave up and died. Wife and I finally got a vehicle of our own and Sweet Celestia's Beard insurance is expensive in Alberta. Hopefully the move gets done soon.

Medical Update, Rites update · 2:07am Feb 11th, 2015

I saw the doc today, and he gave me meds! Huzzah! I have a supply of gabapentin. It will take up to 3 weeks to figure out if it works or not. There is a chance it won't do anything. There's also a chance it'll cause negative side-effects without helping, or help but have negative side-effects that are worse than what I have right now. This isn't a guaranteed treatment.

But not doing anything guarantees continued pain, and there's a chance this medicine will help, so we're trying it. Tonight I take the first dose. One pill a day at first, then two per day after a few doses, and finally three. We'll know what's what in a few weeks. If it doesn't work at all, it'll be time to try a new medicine.
