Sorry for the long wait. Here's a sneak peek of Chapter 4. · 5:59pm Feb 8th, 2015
It's been almost one whole year since I've updated anything on Heroes of Harmony....yeah.
So to make up for it (and to keep me from re-labeling this as Hiatus), I'm going to give you guys a look at what I've started on for Chapter 4 (back in April ). If you don't want to spoiled (though there isn't much to spoil here anyhow), you can leave this blog now and continue waiting ever so patiently for this chapter to be completed and published. Either way, thank you and sorry for the long delay.

Chapter 4: At the Palace
"Stairs...Why did there have to be so many stairs?!" Twilight thought while gazing at the numerous flights of narrow steps, leading towards the Palace of Blooming Lotus, which was on a large hill.
Instead of going straight up however, the stairs went around and along the hill, like a giant coiled serpent. The hill itself faced one side of the steps, while its edge faced the other, with no railing between it and the open sky! Just the thought of climbing it made Twilight wish for her 'pesky' wings back.
"I have a feeling this is going to be just like when we first came to the Crystal Empire," she sighed.
"Probably worse," Spike grumbled.
"What do you mean?" Twilight asked, as she turned to look at him.
The panda cub pointed towards the stairs, "no sign of any elevator this time."
Twilight rolled her eyes at this remark. Then she gave a playful poke at Spike's belly, while she said teasingly. "Well, maybe after eating all those peaches and cookies, a little exercise might do you some good."
Spike tried to frown disapprovingly, but instead let out a small giggle. His new body was apparently more ticklish than what he was use to. Realizing this too, Twilight smiled slyly and proceeded to tickle him more.
"Hee-hee- hey- heh-heh-heh- come on Twi- ha-ha-ha- please- doh-ho-ho- don't do that!"
"Then I guess we better start climbing up those stairs, right?"
"Yee-hee-hee-hee, yes!"
"Good," Twilight stopped tickling him and said, "we need to hurry if we want to see Master Lian, and still manage to have lunch with Feiwuni on time. It won't be easy, but-"
Twilight's ears suddenly picked up the sound of something behind her. Turning around, she could see a Peregrine Falcon perched on a nearby tree. Judging by the sky blue vest it was wearing, she didn't even need to guess who the falcon's Equestrian counterpart was.
"So, you're the mysterious cat who recently went up against Sunset Shimmer?" It said in an all too familiar raspy voice, "I gotta say, I Really would love to have seen that."
"How did you know about it?" Twilight said in surprise and confusion.
"Word travels fast around here," the falcon instantly replied, "you must be quite an amazing Kung Fu master huh?"
Twilight glanced at the ground for a brief moment before she answered.
"Uh, no, actually."
"Wow!" The falcon's magenta eyes widened in astonishment, "then you must be Totally nuts to have stood up to her! But then again, I've done plenty of nutty things myself before. Oh! Almost forgot to introduce myself; the name's Hong Feiben. Captain of the Winged Guards, fastest flier in the Land of Harmony, and Master of the soon-to-be-famous Falcon Style- which I developed by the way."
"Gee, I would never have guessed," said Spike sarcastically.
Twilight walked up closer to the tree, and gave a slight bow to the falcon.
"It's nice to meet you, Captain Hong Feiben. I'm Twilight Sparkle, and this is Spike. We're on our way to see Master Lian."
"Oh really?" Hong Feiben said curiously, "well then, as Captain of the Winged Guards, it is my job to ask your reason for seeing her."
Twilight's heart skipped a beat, as her mind tried to come up with a sensible explanation. She didn't want to lie to this world's version of Rainbow Dash. Yet, at the same time, she didn't think it was a good idea to reveal too much about why they wanted to see Master Lian.
Hopefully you enjoyed that, and that I will get back on writing this again soon.
Not bad. Keep it up.

Thanks. Sorry for not replying to your comment btw.
Good to hear more about this story, althought I'm a little iffy about Twilight catching up so quickly on the fact that this world has counterparts to her friends.
Granted, that also happened in the movie, but she was helped by the fact that the human!Mane 5 had the same names and color scheme as her friends; But here, not only are her friends' counterparts all different animals, but also have different, foreign names.
Anyway, this is good as it is, but it can be better.
(PD: Why is it still "Feiwuni" rather than "Fei Wu-Ni"?)

Well, this part is not written in stone yet, so it could likely change.
Thanks anyways, and it's so great to see you again.
(idk)
