Kindred Spirits of Evening- Tears or Laughter? · 3:17am Aug 7th, 2014
Now because of the site rules that Sad and Comedy can't be in the same fic, I'm a bit at a crossroad here for my upcoming Sunlight A/U fic Kindred Spirits of Evening (I decided to shorten the title). I think it has the potential to be either Sad or Comedy.
So...What would you rather read? A romantic story that is tearful and heart-wrenching (but also has some moments of comic relief)? Or a Comedic one with a few strong emotional/serious parts in it?
Also while I'm at it: Teen or Mature?
EDIT: Here is the updated Synopsis. After reading a filly Twilight fanfic over the weekend, I had a revelation about the most emotional scene of this story. I also found a temporary cover art.
Princess Celestia's adopted daughter, Sunset Shimmer, and faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, have always been the best of friends. Ever since they first met at the Summer Sun Celebration. When both fillies received their Cutie Marks during Twilight's entrance exam however, the following events would create a strong bond between her and the young Princess Sunset; to the point where they felt like sisters to one another.
Now living in Ponyville together, the two unicorn mares (plus Spike) try to go about their new daily lives, in a little town full of little ponies ("Waking up to say..."). Between learning the lessons of Friendship and Magic, as well as saving Ponyville (or even Equestria) from time to time, their lives with each other is good. But what happens, when one of them wants to become more than just "sisters"?
I think it should a sad story, because I would like to see how it turns out. I also think teen, because it shouldn't be dark.

Do you mean will there be more than one story? Or are you talking about a series you've made?
If it's the former, than Yes I plan to make a sequel (possibly make a trilogy of it).
