Journey hit the 1000 · 5:31pm Feb 6th, 2015
Yeah, it happened. And against what I said in my last blog entry, I have something for you. But I wanted it to give you along with the next chapter, which will be coming on Sunday. Not that I tried...
[18:16:52] JBL: Huzzah!
[18:17:23] tio: Huzzah! indeed
[18:18:29] JBL: We are here live at the scene, where just moments ago, Journey just struck its 1000th upvote. With me here today is Tio, the writer behind the success of Journey. Tell me, Mister Tio, how do you feel right now?
[18:18:50] tio: Well, I just peed myself...
[18:19:17] JBL: Oh, well that's certainly something everyone would expect of a German, Mister Tio.
[18:20:01] tio: Yeah, we tend to fill up or piss in bottles and sell it the americans as beer. They never know the difference
[18:20:51] JBL: You would be right if not for the fact that piss probably has more of a kick to it than American beer.
[18:21:06] tio: *Light Beer
[18:21:26] tio: What do you say, celebrate the 1000 and release this saturdays chapter early?
[18:21:46] JBL: hahahahahaha no
[18:21:52] tio: I tried

[18:22:57] tio: You try, you fail. Know you know to never try again

[18:23:16] tio: A very yellow man
[18:23:33] tio: OK thats only works in German
[18:23:51] JBL: "Lisa, we're Americans. You just got to do everything half-assed"
[18:24:39] tio: One German word for "smart" is "weise". And the color "white" is "weiß". While written differently, they're nearly spoken the same.
[18:25:26] JBL: smart or wise = weise. Well look at that
Well, till Sunday folks...
~yay~
Congrats on your 1k milestone

To be honest, this makes me wish I had taken German in high school. Thanks Mom for suggesting that the Spanish I don't remember would be more important.
At least I know to ask where the bathroom is.
Congrats Tio, I can't think of many authors more deserving than you. This was one of the first stories I followed on this site, as it was in the feature box when I joined back in August 2014. I look forward to reading it to its conclusion.
Here's to 2000!
