Ready for another round of sketches?! Well ready or not, here they come!
Just a frontal sketch of Sweetie Belle. Wanted to improve on this angle of ponies so I drew these in half an hour.
Diamond Tiara: Is your dad ever around?
Sweetie Belle: Doesn't matter. My daddy is still better than yours!
Diamond Tiara: I bet my dad could beat your's up!
Sweetie Belle: I really don't think so. My daddy is very scary when he's angry.

I think I went a little overkill with his mane. Damn he has a fluffy mane!
One could say that when Sombra the Reformed fights, he really lights up the place. But in all seriousness, he will beat your face in to show you a glimpse of your insides. Then he'd go home, kiss his lovely wife and hug his daughter and continue on with his day like nothing ever happened. Ah yes, the perks of not giving a buck about evil doers.
How ya'll like them? Still need some improving? I think this is as far as I can get as far as sketches go, I will have to buy a program to make them all nice and colored with effects if I want to get any better. Ya'll have any recommendations?
I'm also thinking of starting a more interactive blog like the ones you see on tumblr where people ask characters questions and they answer in picture form. It would probably be like this one that I've been before.
It would definitely be a side project. I can barely keep up with my updates as it is. Adding even another layer of deadlines would be killer...
I need more days off...

I Must say, I am kind of laughing right now how you paniced on the way you said you couldnt do Sombra´s muzzle from the front earlier. It looks great! You can do it man!

These damn fine drawings. You've really got drawing a pony from the front down to a science. Particularly loved the frontal sketch of Sombra. Say what you will about him, but he made sideburns fashionable again.
Your sketches are very nice! I like your drawing style. However there are plenty of free drawing programs available such as MyPaint, GIMP, FireAlpaca, Autodesk Sketchbook (there's a free version and a paid version and this one also runs on phones and tablets) and Paint Tool SAI! (SAI isn't technically freeware but it's been distributed as free with an English patch, it's Japanese software.) Thought I should let you know about these options. Personally I prefer MyPaint because it has an unlimited canvas and a very clean interface. Sorry that I cannot provide links, I'm a new/lurking member and I don't really know my way around, and I'm on my phone so I might mess something up haha!

Yall don't have any idea how long it took me to get them right. I actually have a bin full of crumbled up sketchs because of I just ripped them and threw them away since it was already starting to look off.
I really pushed myself to see if I could overcome that hurdle, this was just the result
2758867 Thanks! I'll definitely look into the programs you mentioned, though I wouldn't hold my breath for a colored drawing from me. I probably won't show any of my works until I think they look presentable.
hey ya Note! i looked back at some of your previous sketches and notes. (ok, i actually went through all most all of your previous sketches. but that doesn't make me a stalker, right?
) LOL, any way, I've noticed that you've been getting really frustrated that you can't draw mister- i mean..... king sombra, from a frontal perspective point. i'm no artist, not even the slightest! but i guess it all depends an shape and where hes looking. (EX: he looks to the front, but slightly upwards.) and sombra has actually a very block-based shape to his muzzle like you said. so i would try to imagine looking directly at a block. but like i said, I'm no artist what-so-ever! but so far, i really love your drawing style! it has an anime hint to it, and that's what makes it look really awesome! (i love anime!) but of course, don't take my advice if ya don't want. I'm not skilled. but what ever you do......DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'!!!
