I hope everyone is having a lovely Friday with prospects of an exciting weekend. It has been a pretty great week story wise for Memoirs and I can promise that exciting new chapters are on the way. I've actually been quite eager to share them because they'll be slightly different than what I've done thus far (with the exception being the wedding arc).
While Memoirs is predominantly a Slice of Life tale I've always wanted to include adventure elements and you'll all be seeing that soon. These chapters will also allow me to expand on the Equestria that Crystal Wishes and I write about. More on that next week!
This week my topic is spin offs and cameos. I've done a lot of the latter thus far and will continue to do so through this blog and even a contest. The biggest news for me is that I've begun work on a new story that is a spin off of Memoirs.
In some ways the spin off is very similar. It is first person (my preferred style of writing), features royal guards, and is slice of life. Despite those similarities it is an extremely different sort of tale and will feel very different. I've never written anything like it for sure. The story, which I haven't named yet, features Sunny Day, a new OC (as the main protagonist), Soarin, Trixie, and a couple of other familiar ponies. I hope to get it out to you in February.
On the cameo front Silent Knight has appeared in a new story. Juntao112 has brought him into his universe and featured him in the main cast of Acquisitions of an Aspiring Queen. I had the pleasure of pre-reading the story and I highly recommend it.
Once again I want to thank you all for reading my story, giving me a thumbs up, and commenting. It has been a pleasure to interact with all of you and I hope we can continue to do so for a long time. I appreciate all of the feedback and I leave with you new art.
