The Scent of Prey revisited and other updates. · 1:25pm Jan 15th, 2015

I said it a million times that I was done with this thing, but circumstances have forced me to reconsider. I've made no secret of the fact that I despise this story despite it's minor success. Once it was explained to me what I was doing wrong, I realized I was doing everything wrong.

Well it's time to fix this thing as best as possible. I will be guest writing as the character Richard "Stuntman" Eckhart for a friend's story. I don't want to embarrass him by having him tell his fans where Richard came from, only for them to wind up reading this horrible backwash of newb-written, amateur hour nonsense. I haven't become a great writer over the course of five months, but I'm better than what I was back then.

Firesight will be editing TSoP after my changes are applied so that means all of my stories will bear his editing seal. I'm certainly better off for it. Yes Jack Kellar this thing is finally going to be readable...

In other news, The Siege of Castle Harmony will be updated in a day or two. I'm proud to say that while it may not be getting the views that my entry into pony smut got, it's getting good feedback and a high-percentage of likes to dislikes. People may not be lining up around the internet to see Genghis Khan as a small colorful horse hitting other ponies with snowballs, but the ones that stumbled in are certainly happy they came. :scootangel:

Once chapter four of "Siege" is completed, I'm going to start two new writing projects: A sequel to TSoP which will only draw inspiration from the Gentlemanverse this time around, and an M-rated side story to Siege which will follow an encounter between Linky and Twinkleshine. It was fun writing E and T-rated stories and being respectable, but I need to get back to where my heart is.

That's it! I look forward to a busy 2015 with a lot of writing. If you for some reason actually like me, and haven't read Turnabout Storm, then go over and take a look. My editor wrote almost the entire last third of it, and is the reason we have the prospect of a TwiWright ship being viable in the future. be happy, or be afraid, but I will be happy, because he does a good job selling it.

Don't give up the ship and I'll write again soon.

Appreciate the shout-out! :pinkiehappy: And don't be too hard on yourself for TSoP. It had some genuinely good parts and you've come a very long way in a short time. You listen and you learn, and that's more than I can say for some writers I've known. Those two attributes will take you a very long way in all endeavors, not just writing.

Look forward to seeing and editing your coming attractions!
