Happy New Year everyone! Last year was pretty spectacular, and this one has the potential to be pretty awesome as well.
Last January I randomly decided to try my hand at writing fanfiction again, and I'm glad I did. Especially since it all started with an innocuous question of "If I were going to cross over Umineko with ponies, what would be the best way to do it?"
Some of my earlier ideas were kind of shit, tbh. I'm glad I settled on the approach that I did.
Now it's 2015, and I'm already a good 20,000 words into my next story. Been writing this at a pretty breakneck pace, and loving every minute of it. As for the story itself, let's just say that Fimfic should have a [Drama] tag, because I am not holding back in the slightest. I'll probably put up some sneak peaks when it's closed to being done / in the revision stage.
And of course, we've got season 5 to look forward to this year. Which, if nothing else, will inspire buckets of awesome fanfiction to be written, and I'm certainly never against that.

Heh. Maybe I'll actually get into writing this year[1].
For now, I'll just be content reading some other people's stuff. We'll see how your fic turns out. I, admittedly, am not a big fan of "buckets of intrigue", if that is what you mean by "drama", but who knows

This is more of a crazy interpersonal drama sort of thing.
I do have some future ideas that will likely devolve into overly-complicated intrigues and mysteries, but those ideas will wait their turn for now.
