Recap of 2014 (Cons & Pros) [Mid Rant] · 1:15am Jan 1st, 2015
Going to keep this short because I hate going too full on rant.
Oh, 2014, what a shitty year you have been. Things that went around /my/ life improved drastically yes, but when it comes to this site, it just disgusts me. That's what I'm going to mostly talk about in here (plus who gives a shit about my life)
Cons:
I'm obviously going to start off with the cons. First I can mention this shit. It's something it pissed me off and at the same time made me want to stay further away from the site. What a joyous life.
I'm going to keep linking stuff from this year. Remember this too? Oh yeah, more fun tiems.
Now we have more than three events that have transpired throughout the year. I don't even have to go into detail because it's a waste of my time and yours.
And then we got this. I know it's a stupid thing to get worked up over, but still you have to admit it was retarded on the authors' part.
And now, something I didn't blog about before. I think you guys remember the two people who lied about getting raped and impregnated. They obviously got found out and were banned in the end (can't remember their exact names, but I'm sure they were present this year.) I didn't get too much into this situation mainly because it was extremely idiotic and time-wasting. Apparently attention-whoring has become a thing in FimFiction, seeing that it's present nearly every-fucking-where. I'm not going to go into names here, but apparently there's another case of another person that was said to be raped. I'm not even sure if this is legit or not, due to both of the cases that were mentioned back there-- point is, I don't even know if I should believe or not.
Note: Again, I'm /not/ going to get into this. I'm also not mentioning any names and I'm not trying to start an argument because of this. Just keep it to yourself, I'm done with it.
People who think their life is the worst thing ever and just want attention to get their ego inflated, yep that's whom I'm talking about right now. People who blame everyone who has a shittier life than them, people who believe that the entire WORLD is going to hell by treating them in some way. Sure, sure. We all have our moments, I admit that. Even I've been sad and gloomy some times, but not at this goddamn level. Oh, you might tell me, "They're suffering from severe depression." Fucking bullshit. I went through this exact shit last year (I posted like 10 edgy blogs but then I got them down.), and it's nothing like this. I've even met like ten people with this condition and they've NEVER went around wailing like little brats in some group's forum seeking for attention. This is the kind of people I have a very hard time tolerating, mainly because it pisses me off they bring up such a 'show' just for their 'shitty' life.
It bothers me up to a certain degree because I've met so many people, and I've HELPED a lot of people, but I've never seen some sense of attention-seeking in those individuals I've met and helped. Never. It's a huge black dot in another black dot if you get what I mean. You might say that attention seeking while being depressed is a good thing, and don't get me wrong, up to a point it is fine. But there is a point in which it just gets ridiculous and it's no longer 'help me please I'm depressed' it's more like a 'PLEASE HELP ME AGAIN' cycle. At least try to learn how to cope up with your thoughts.
Extreme attention-whoring in the end is always something that'll piss me off. I do call myself an hypocrite about this, because I've had those urges before, but seriously people,

Call me a pessimist but this is crude reality. Yes, all of these things have passed throughout this year. I really did wish for a good year, but instead got shit splattered everywhere.
Let's all hope 2015 isn't like this.

It's obvious that the cons outweigh the pros in here.
knighty updated the site and made it look at least more decent.
Met a lot of new people who turned out to be really amazing, also got really really close to /some/ people, and I found out several things about my life (people who know me personally know about this already.)
That's it. That's all the good I can come up with this year, mostly regarding the site that is.
I'm going to post another blog giving shoutouts to certain people afterwards, right now I'm just going to let this pass first.
