See, because Hearth's Warming Eve is set up as a parallel to Christmas, but in-universe, the holiday's history is akin to America's Independence Day. I hope it's the latter, because sadly, no white Christmas where I live. 
Then again, fireworks don't seem very likely, either. But of course, neither of those things matter! It's Christmas! Christmas is about getting gifts appreciating the gifts you've been given over the past year. Or is that Thanksgiving? Oh well, I'll say that's the true meaning of Christmas. And whether it's my family, my friends, or my promised trip to Bronycon 2015, I'm grateful for those gifts. I'm also sincerely grateful for all my followers, commenters, likers, favoriters, and readers. You've truly been great encouragement and support to me, more than you realize. I hope all of you had wonderful festivities today, and Happy Holidays! 
Also, I got a pony blanket. It's fuzzy and awesome.

It's like a fundamental rule of the universe: an object in motion tends to stay in motion, I like muffins, and my town gets snow in December. But you know what you and I can do?
