Sharing the Night—now with Patreon · 11:05pm Dec 19th, 2014
Well, no one told me to get off my high horse and crawl into a hole, so I went and did it. I'm not going to write a big long blog post, because that's what the Patreon page is for. Go there and help me make sure nothing like this terrible two-chapter year ever happens again.
Or don't. It's completely optional. I'm not putting Sharing the Night behind a pay-wall, you silly people.
For those who don't know—Patreon is a donation service that allows users to pledge donations for specific updates, rewards and goals, meaning if I don't release chapters, I get nothing, which is exactly how it should be. Since this can be unpredictable, you can set a monthly cap for pledges, but, let's be realistic, I'm not going to post two chapters in a month unless they're on the 1st and 31st.
Also, as a reminder, I will be posting a chapter on Christmas, and yes, I will log it as an entry Patreon just to get things started. I know it might seem a little disingenuous, but that's timing for you.

Honestly, I've kind-of-sort-of wanted to do it for a while, but it wasn't until I realized how badly I did in 2014 that I decided it really needed to happen. If I pledge you, and you pledge me, are we racing?

Well, I was going to give you money, but patreon is being a cunt. If you still want it, I can just send you the money direct via paypal, however.
I lied. I did use use the patreon in spite of my saying I wouldn't. I will put this one (1) harassment that I was rewarded to good use in the future. Woe be unto you as it didn't specify in what manner said harassment is supposed to take place, or limit how long said one (1) harassment is allowed to last. I figured an author like you would be much better than this at choosing your words.
On a completely unrelated note, does anyone know where I can hire a mariachi band for cheap?
