    Here's Why

The Adventures of Fragment hasn't updated in almost a year now, and I sure there's someone out there who'd like to know why.

    Well, allow me to explain.

    Readings Related Question

The question is simpler than the answer.

Should a story's amount of likes matter if it's never been in the Featured Box?

Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw On Being Deliberately Offensive

Hatred is a game that is deliberately trying to be offensive. Forgive me if that's obvious to you, but it apparently slipped by some people, who never seemed to grow tired of pointing out that it was offensive, and therefore shouldn't be allowed. You know me, I'm a pretty liberally-minded guy, but I confess to having difficulty following the logic here. Something set out to be

Need to talk?

Oh no, what did he do this time?

He was killed by the police.

2659634 Sigh. I told him not to stand in front of bullets.

Wait, this guy isn't someone serious, right? Like, an accidental killing or anything? If so I VERY STRONGLY retract my joke. I won't joke about something serious.

Not to sound racist but my god I am done hearing about this! Yes the police fucked up they know it we know it but it's gotta linger like morning breath. Lets talk about um oh I know Obama and Cuba! Maybe if people got this worked up in how government was ran back when we had to pay to keep banks running back in 2008 maybe I give more of a fuck.

Whenever I think about problems with racism today, I always find myself remembering that THERE ARE RIOTS OF BLACK PEOPLE GOING ON IN FERGUSON. And that was an act of self defense. Let's face it, if a black guy dies or gets attacked, someone's getting pissed. If something happens to a white guy, we shrug it off and forget about it the next day. It's the same thing as the Zimmerman trial. The fact is that we give minorities too much power be cause all that we can think is, "Aww. It's not their fault. There's more of us than there are of them. Any act against them is automatically an act of racism." We don't treat them as standard people anymore. We treat them like angels. Except these angels want to kill us when we talk back, walk into their territory, or don't share the same religion. Now police brutality is something serious, but from the looks of it, it only comes off that way if a black guy is being beaten. I'm not racist by any means. Some of the greatest men in sports, at least, are black. Micheal Jordan, Shaq, Lebron James. I appreciate these guys, just as I'm tolerant to people of other races and sexual preferences, so long as they don't plan to run into crowds of people with explosives strapped to their chests. The point is, we give the minorities too much power, and that's why we care for and fear them so much.
