And So It Begins · 10:04pm Dec 11th, 2014
Hey All,
Well, I was a little on-edge last night because the doctor apparently hadn't gotten the confirmations about the viability of my stem cells yet, so I spent the night in the hospital with the potential that the transplant might not actually happen, and I might have needed to go through the mobilization process again. I am amazed I was actually able to sleep.
Luckily, at around 11am today, the doc came by and said yes, the viability (the percentage of stem cells that are still alive after the freezing process) is high enough, so it's a go.
And so, it has begun. I'm currently getting my first conditioning chemo medication, and so far I feel fine. I'm not sure what day I'll start feeling some of the side effects (if I do at all), but I'm hoping I'll be able to get some writing and/or editing done over the next month. I finally got a bit of a spark on how to continue with Crimson, so hopefully I don't lose that. Editing-wise, I have a few options and a few people to contact (if they don't contact me first— those of you I haven't spoken to recently, like the past week or so, feel free to message me).
I've been getting a lot of well-wishes from people I know, as well as people I barely even know (but kind of know through other people), so obviously I've got support. I've also got some great nurses and staff here in the hospital taking care of me. That, and with plenty of stuff to keep myself occupied, I have a feeling I'll be able to ride this stuff out just fine.
Peace out, y'all.

PS: Sorry, no picture this time. It's not that different from the previous one.
I'm glad to hear it's smooth~! Also... er... do you have a shipping address? XD
Glad to hear its all going good so far.
Eventually, when you feel up to it we can get back to my story. Just have to let me know when you feel up to it is all. Anyways, hope you stay well and the side effects are minimal.
