Not too late though. Sure I'm already two days late but I have three excuses.
I wrote another story. (Which flopped like a fish out of water, rightly so but my fragile little ego took a hit and I went emo for a day.)
Turkey Day.
Got sucked into a really good story.
Pure laziness.
While all true, one of those isn't an excuse.
Now, for the pathetic excuses I promised for the last chapter.
The big one: About a month after I had posted the chapter before last, the power company came by to fry my monitor. That wasn't their intention I'm sure, but it was the result. So for about eight months I didn't have a computer and I did all my reading on my phone. Initially I considered writing with that but it was far too cumbersome for my tastes. When I got a new monitor I had actually managed to forget about IBDF. It wasn't until some newer readers commented on it that it went to the forefront of my thoughts.
The medium one: Reacquainting myself with the story was a hurdle I hadn't had to leap before and I wasn't keen on doing so.
The smaller ones: Life, reading, and laziness.
What really good story did you get sucked into?
