I wonder just how much of a dolt I can be. I accidently unpublished the first chapter of Three from the Forest last night and reset the view count. It has been republished and back up, so no worries there.
Today I will be finishing the fifth chapter of Consequence of Choice, even if I have to unplug every electronic device in my home to do it. Been stewing on it for too long and it is time to finish it.
In other news, after that chapter is done, I will be working on a new story. It will be a shorter story, so CoC will not be neglected for long. The newest story will be *gasp* a shipping story. Yes, yes, I know I said I would not do shipping stories, but I decided to put that aside and try one. Even with that though, my pairing will be Lyra Heartstrings and Thunderlane. Take that, LyraBon shippers!
Finally, chapter five of Three from the Forest is underway through its final editing. Lab and I will have it ready for you all this weekend. Look forward to it!
That's all I have this go around, have fun out there people!
No my ship! Ah well, having this much bad luck means that you'll have good luck the rest of the way.
2606803 Saying things like that only curses me with more bad luck...
I'm afraid to step out of my home now.
2606805 My bad... has this bad luck thing happened before?
2606807 Ever almost been struck by lightning... twice? I have, true story.
The fact I'm alive is worth celebrating as I've given fate the finger more often than not.
2606856 Damn... How do you nearly get strike twice?
2606862 once I'm back home and on a real keyboard I'll tell you the story.
2606872 Okay, um, how do you accidentaaly wipe out your views?
2606884 As for the story views, I noticed I had dropped from 79 to 58 over night. I looked over the story when I noticed the red circle next to chapter one and realized I must had accidently hit the unpublished button when I was looking over the chapter. After I republished the chapter, my view count went back to where it was.
As for the lightning strike stories. The first happened when I was... seven I think. My family was at the house of a dog breeder, picking up a new German Shepard puppy. A storm was brewing in the distance, but we still stayed outside while I played with our new pup. As we were talking, I remember bright flash and a loud bang and my family and dropped to the ground on instinct. It was very close. The poor pup had a fear of thunder its whole life.
The second was when I was twelve. My mother had come home from grociery shopping and me and my brother were tasked to bring in the grocieries while it was storming outside. I was in front of my brother as we were carrying stuff in, all of a suddenly I was thrown forward and there was that bright flash and loud bang again. After I hit the ground I looked at my brother and found that he was thrown backwards. We both hightailed it back inside and told mom we'd get the rest when the storm stopped. The lightning strike had struck the ground between us.
True story.
2607224 That is some luck, especially the second time. Just one milisecond and one of you would have been in the hospital or worse.
