"Portmaster" is complete. · 3:00pm Nov 11th, 2014
"Polarity" wasn't a sequel. "Polarity" was a bridge. It was written so that Portmaster could be written. Welp, here it is.
So, just heads-up to those who enjoyed "Polarity".
Ridiculously delayed, good six months of bumping between various proofreaders until I (was) found (by) one who apparently stole all the tenacity of other proofreaders and hoarded it all to himself, Portmaster is complete. Save for a last-minute, promised bonus clop chapter that will come out...eventually, but without bearing on the main story.
Anyway - Portmaster is much darker than Polarity, but the lack of "Tragedy" tag is justified. It's a story about things getting better. A story of forbidden love and terrible errors. A story about an artificial species, which doesn't quite follow pony (or human) patterns of thought. And it has all the wacky chapter titles like Transistance did (although the second half of it is just various aspects of "Pathomemetics" - study of spread of an infective idea...)
