This story is a sequel to Transistance

Equestria a thousand years into the future. Powerful entities would spare no expense to prevent sentient machines, Equestria's primary workforce, from ever becoming legal citizens. Others, shown the error of their ways, will come to lengths to repair their past mistakes. Trust lost once is hard to restore, but a gift of extreme generosity comes a long way.

This story is an unofficial one-shot sequel to excellent Transistance by ToixStory. Reading the original is mandatory, otherwise this story won't make much sense to you.

(This time I got author's permission for the sequel.)

That was sweet.

I enjoyed that a lot. It is SO cool to see something like this, I'm just giddy with excitement! :pinkiehappy:

I read the prequel to this story and had no idea what was happening.

In the prequel, or here?

You have a decent amount of runon sentences. Also, some issues with tense.

Here. I can pick out the name of the moon corporation, but that's it.

I really don't know how to explain the first part without a full-scale lecture on economy. In short, piece by piece, a mysterious entity is buying the Deckard Corporation, the manufacturer of all replicants. Luna tries to find, who and why (there's immeasurable potential for harm if they fall into wrong hooves). Twilight, meanwhile, correctly guesses who and why, and chooses to keep the info secret from Luna.

The second part is fairly simple, Luna develops laws that could allow replicants who are owned like slaves to buy freedom. Luna and Twilight work on laws that make it possible without damaging the economy.

In the last part the mysterious buyer is revealed to be Princess Celestia, and that buyer's intention was to give Luna the Moon for birthday

I hope this clarifies the essence.

I'm really glad you wrote this. It may not be official Transistence canon but I can't help but be glad Celestia and Luna were given a chance to REALLY rekindle their relationship.

EDIT: Oooh this is a fan made sequel, my bad.
In that case, great work. Heartwarming and shit.

Awww so cute. I love it.

I love it! :pinkiehappy: The best part was "whoops." Not being able to exert influence on yourself because you own your owner? Genius :facehoof:

Two years ago I read this story and had no idea what was going on. Today I came back, re-read the prequel, then re-read this story, and finally made sense of the story. Just wanted to let you know.
