Today my theme is, wait for it... choices. (Yeah, it was in the blog title. Sigh.)
I am now torn between writing new chapters of Renaissance Pony, and writing more Mankind Triumpohant - Relic. Both have been enormously satisfying for me to write so far, and I've gotten good comments on both. But man, I hate having to split my very limited writing time between two fics. Choices. Do each one more slowly, or put one on hiatus while I finish the other? Choices.
I made another choice earlier today that I wish I hadn't: I went to see Prometheus. The best thing I can say about that choice was that at least it was half-price Tuesday at the Cineplex. How could Ridley Scott do this, make such a great flic as the original Alien, and then do a real stinker like Prometheus? This movie was so full of really bad plot holes that during the first half of the movie even my charming but science-fiction challenged significant other noticed and kept asking me to explain why they were acting so stupid all the time. She slept through most of the second half. My offspring were even less charitable and both called it properly horrible.
Sigh. Choices... oh, right... RP or Relic? I need help. I'll put it to a vote. Please respond to which fic you want me to extend next. I might write a bit a both in the next week as we are coming up with two three day weekends in a row where I live.

I don't KNOW! They're both so damn good! I wish I could help, but I am loving them both. Maybe roll a D6, where 4+ is Relic?

D'awww dad, you're being overly considerate. In the end, despite the movie's shortcomings, we all enjoyed a nice family outing of scenic 3D goodness. Thank you! 8D Awesome graphics win me over regardless of movie content, lol. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR REGRET, DAFADDAH. >D
Maybe you could write one fic until you feel like writing the other more, then switch back once you're more inspired to work on the other one again.
