There you have it, I've finally decided that the way the chapter is now is the best I can do. Still, that does not make me happy with it.
There is one more chapter coming in a similar manner (of narrative, hopefully not with that long a wait) for sure. I don't feel there's much more I can write for this, unless sudden bursts of inspiration strike. Then there's one chatpter on my mind that would work well as a closing one - of course, since I don't really post them in order of the time they're taking place respectively, I might squeeze it between somewhere else, but it wouldn't exactly feel right. And I can do one bonus chapter full of yet undisclosed general sillyness for after that, if you'd desire.
On a semi-related note, I've got a very rough outline for a new story. This one will feature the sabertooth ponies I've been making up and should have a more coherent plot. I already have the intro thought out quite enough. Well, it's kind of an info dump, really, but I'm trying my best to hide it among a narrative. Hopefully I'll succeed. The first chapter might see light along with the next Lyruminati chapter. We'll se how it shall go from there.
