An Apple Suitor – When Granny Smith complains about her grandchilren being goodf'rnuthin's who will never give any more young'uns, Big Mac is pressured into finding a date.
An Apple Future – When Granny Smith barges into the Friendship Castle while they're investigating a mysterious artefact, she is flung into a mysterious world where her grandchildren have overthrown the princesses in grief and rage and enforce their own tyrannical reign. Now it's up to Granny Smith alone to use her decades of experience and wisdom to— haha no she's just going to kick their asses and disclipline them old-school.

An Apple Shooter – Babs Seed witnesses a terrible crime and is threatened from testifying by the mob.
And my own contribution:
An Apple Lucha(dor) – Apple Bloom meets a burro. They have a conversation about life, philosophy, and the glory of a well-executed Fiery Justice Reverse Suplex. (Excerpt: "And then I hit Diamond Tiara with a folding chair." "Ay, Manzana Pequeña. This is your problem – only gringos use metal folding chairs.")
...So why are they rejected? O.o

They're all plays on his most recent story's title, "An Apple Sutra."
Some of these sound amazing (especially the last one). And a couple sound like actual stories I've seen.
