So funny thing happened. I recently figured out Unova is a pokemon region apperantly. Yes, I know. How the flying celibate fuck did I not know that. I've played Black and Black 2 back when I lived in my home country Pakistan. The English to Urdu, then Urdu to English translation changed a lot of names and pronunciations of the originals. Unova in particular was changed into something so needlessly complicated, no one I knows from Pakistan remembers what it was called.
Fast forward years later, when I first used the name Unova for Celestia's first name, I picked it up from some meme I came across from Facebook I didn't get and decided to use Unova as her real name in the fic because Unova is one letter away from nova. It was a joke that didn't really go anywhere so I just let it be until people asked me to continue the fic and I thought, "Hey Riffle Shuffle, remember that crappy joke that you regret writing to no end? Yeah, that one. Let's take it somewhere."
And it played a huge part in the eighteenth chapter of the fic. Some people said they didn't get it even though it was never intended to be a joke. Then a couple of people started making Pokemon references in the comment section. I asked them what they meant and after I went through some of the links they sent me, I facepalmed hard enough to make my forehead bleed.
So long story short, I want to change Unova into something less embarrassing before I write the finale. Suggestions?

I've never been a fan of the alternate names, for the record...
