Hey all, Firestar here. Firstly, I wanted to thank you all for your response to this story. An hour after chapter 31 was published, the story reached 800 unique views. More importantly, thirteen hours later we hit the 10k unique chapter views milestone (For the math nerds such as myself out there, that comes out to right around 12.5 chapter views per person, on average). Thank you so much for hooking onto this story in the way you all have, whether you're a newcomer or you've been around from the beginning. Your response is what has kept me writing this long.
Now, moving on to the next part. As some have likely already noticed, the title has been changed to make it more concise. World of Equestria-Craft just didn't roll off the tongue like I wanted it to, and was superfluous. I've instead just shortened it to 'Beyond the Portal'. I'll also be going through the older chapters and revising a bit, trying to make it a bit better than what it is right now (Especially chapters 17-23, which I will admit were not my best work).
As some of you may have already guessed, Beyond the Portal is drawing closer to the end. While difficult to say for certain, I'm estimating that there are roughly a dozen more chapters left before the story draws to a close. But, as an old proverb says, "Every end is a new beginning." I am indeed planning a sequel to Beyond the Portal. I don't know entirely what it will be yet, but not because there's not enough material for me to make a working sequel - quite the opposite, in fact. I've got so many ideas floating around in this crazy collection of thoughts I call my mind that at times its hard to keep things reasonable while I'm writing.
I've also been suggested to perhaps begin a spin-off series loosely tied to main events in Beyond the Portal. I can't say I've given a lot of thought to this, since I've been so focused on getting the main story written, but my question is this. Would you all be interested in a spin-off story? And if so, what kind of ideas would you like to see in said story? Please leave your thoughts in the comments.

2474215 it's not going to be anything story-changing big. Mostly grammatical or stylistic changes. If you want you can go read through them again, but it won't be big enough changes for you to have to.

Here a question for you. You Have Scootaloo become a Monk in 'Beyond the Portal'.
You have plans for Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom becoming one of the other classes? Like Sweetie Belle becoming a Paladin and Apple Bloom becoming a Druid or a Shaman so they can get a cutie mark in fighting evil (they're kids, their logic is.....out there)?
Heck, it would be funny seeing their reactions to Draenie and Worgen.
2478871 I don't think we'll be seeing Applebloom or Sweetie Belle getting their cutie marks in this story. Beyond the Portal is primarily about the Monk, and about Scootaloo's journey. Not saying that it won't happen in the sequel, though nor am I saying that it will.
As for the trio going out to fight evil... I'd say that even Scootaloo's limited experience would deter the other two. Especially after chapter 32.
