So... I promised I wouldn't be taking another extended hiatus... and yet here I am.
To my Beyond the Portal readers - my sincerest apologies. This was my original series, the one that got me started in writing. However, World of Warcraft has lost my interest in a major way. My subscription ran dry several months ago, and I have no plans on renewing it, even when Legion launches. I will continue and finish BtP2, but for now it is going to be put on the backburner, and the official status will be changed to hiatus.
To my Finding My Place readers - again, my sincerest apologies. I've been slowly working on the next chapter for a while, but real life issues have constantly crept up that keep getting in the way, including a lawsuit I'm preparing. That's not even mentioning the bouts of (sometimes crippling) depression I've been dealing with recently. All in all, there's not been a lot of time for me to write, and during what little free time I did have, I rarely felt like writing
The next chapters of both stories are nearing completion, but I'm going to put Beyond the Portal on hiatus for a while to focus on Finding my Place. Hopefully this is the last time I'll have to apologize for being so slow in updating.
RL gotta come first. No apologies needed for that.

Aaah, so RL issues? Yea, those tend to take up lots of free time. Now I feel like a jerk for the comment on FMP. Lol!!
