To my followers, I have some happy news.
I’ve been… let’s say, privy to a project for a while now. Reading it and giving feedback. This project is being carried out by my dear friend SoloBrony. It’s a pony fic which he has been writing since January. He’s very close to finishing now, and will publish soon. Within the next few days, hopefully.
The fic itself is different from what you may normally see. For one, its a sequel to another story, Cheersalis by Prane, which as far as I can tell isn’t particularly well known. The story itself is about Chrysalis, and what makes her tick. It takes a different path than what you see in, say, A New Way. Where, from this position, it goes is to places very near and dear to my heart.
Now, why am I sharing this information? Well, dear follower, I want to ask a favor of you. This story means a lot to me. I want to see it read, and enjoyed, by as many people as can be managed, starting with you all. Of course, I say a favor, but if this story is half as meaningful to you as it was to me, it will be well worth your time, and if your friends like it that much as well, it will be worth your while to pass it on to them.
The story isn’t out yet, but you can get ready now by reading Cheersalis, and potentially even following Solo so you’ll know right away when his fic, The Queen and I, comes out. Reading Cheersalis isn’t 100% necessary, but I feel the fic is better for having read the story it’s based on.
You all followed me because you trusted me enough to keep producing good work. I ask you to trust me now. Give the fic a shot. It’s worth it.
