A Diamond Tiara In the Vogonverse Story · 2:46am Sep 14th, 2014
Okay, I'm not a huge fan of Diamond Tiara. I mean seriously... Not a huge fan of her at all, but that said I don't think that she's been given the chance to really grow as a character either. Anyone who's ever read my work knows that I can go pretty dark, and I can do comedy, and slice of life stories are fun, but what happens when a character is brought to the Earth from the Vogonverse by an accident? What happens when that character doesn't have that one person to fall on? That one special somepony to bond with? Or family to stay with? What happens when that same pony is offered Kindness from someone who should be so beneath them, that in their old life they would have laughed at being addressed by them?
Well... Here's a preview.
It wasn't right. This couldn't be right. This wasn't Ponyville, and she had no clue what was going on, but this wasn't right. Diamond Tiara walked forward with her shimmering dress, the tiara she shared her namesake with, and a feeling of massive anxiety. She breathed out. Somepony would help. They had to.
"What the fuck is that man?!" a voice shouted.
"Looks like some rich fuck got tired of his fuck toy! Hey cutie! Needa place to stay?!" another voice shouted.
She shook her head violently.
"Look at her man... Damn... looks like an old prom photo... You know what happens at proms don't ya little girl?" one of the voices asked.
It sounded closer and she took off. Sounds of something hitting the pavement, something like paws, large paws, slapping against the pavement, and it was getting closer. She turned a corner and looked at the strange rectangular thing in front of her. It sat on a weird rock pad, and above it was another, and another, and another rectangular thing. She heard the sounds getting closer, and before she could say a word something grabbed her wrist, covered her muzzle, and pulled her into the darkness.
She watched as two strange looking creatures ran past where they were. Whatever had her wrist and muzzle let her go and backed away.
"It's not smart to hang out in the open like that," he said.
"Thank you... What... What were they going to do?" she asked.
She looked toward the stallion that saved her and noticed that he looked like those things, but he didn't act like them.
"They'd rape you, robe you, and then kill you for your organs and sell them on the black market. What are you doing here? The Stacks aren't a friendly place," he said.
"I'm... I'm lost. The last thing I remember was being in my house, in my bed, and then suddenly I'm here... I want my daddy," she whimpered.
He gave her a small smile, touched her hand and shook his head.
"I can't help with that, but I can give you someplace safe to stay for the night. It'd at least be away from animals like that," he said.
She nodded, following him into the darkness. The area looked littered with strange carriages that had been abandoned long ago. Most of them looked rusted, unusable, but he lead her to the center. There was a mound of them, each stacked over the other. They worked their way in toward the center. She saw him pull out a key, unlock a door, and open it. She followed him in through the door. It had been some kind of carriage, but she could tell that it led into something else. She followed it until he flipped a switch. A few scattered lights came on, and she noticed a small rectangular thing like she had seen earlier.
"Welcome to the Casa de Luna," he said.
While I was reading this blog, I caught visions of 50 Shades of Gray mingled with Law & Order: SVU. I could honestly see DT getting paired to some BDSM pedophile and all that she could just to keep from getting broken.

I should have said colt and not Stallion. To be honest the kid I have in mind is alone as well. In his case his parents lost everything. They went into debt and were forced to go to the corporate farm. Where he has been living is more or less his secret hideaway. He earns money for food, clothes, and everything else by working on folks consoles, Immersion gear, and fixing up some old basic computers.
His saving Diamond Tiara was just a case of him seeing if it was clear enough to warrant going to the closest grocery store (Which is fully automated and sells nothing but prepared food that basically nothing more than complex carbs.).
Seeing her in trouble he helped her and basically had put off food shopping for a while.
I sort of wonder if Diamond Tiara will encounter Apple Bloom... .

It's very possible. I haven't quite decided on which Stacks I want her to be in. There's the ones throughout OKC, then there's the huge amount throughout California (Some are just about an hour away from Sweet Nectar Acres).
Basically the Stacks are all over the US. Almost every major city has them either in the city or just outside of them. Stacks of Mobile homes on shoddily built Scaffolds that are being held together by pure willpower and spot welding.
In fact... I'm willing to bet where ever you have Scootaloo end up, if it's in the US, there's going to be a version of the Stacks nearby.

This story would do two things. One, it would help establish the power behind Vogon. Meaning the mistake wouldn't have been one at all. Instead what happened was meant to happen. That Diamond Tiara was meant to arrive where she did, that she was left there for one specific person to find her.
It leads to the question of what is controlling Vogon, and how does it know what it knows?

Now it's getting creepy. Vogon is much more than a company. What are you?! Tell us you...you monster! What do you want from us? Is this just a game you?!
This is something i can get into. From what i gathered from this little preview Diamond still has her brat personality but toned down making her more tolerable. Me like this.
