And now my computer is finally fixed. Apparently hadn't been able to update properly in about six months.
No wonder it had more issues than a hormonal pregnant teen!
Had to reinstall the OS though... now to get everything back together in working order.
Although...
Conversation over the phone:
Repair guy: "We've had to reinstall the OS to fix it. We put all your files into a folder on the desktop though, so no worries.
Very first thought: 'Shit they found my porn!'
Thought process when going to pick it up: 'Just smile and nod. Say the occasional 'Yes' and 'Of course, that's how it goes' and get the hell out of there!'
Thoughts when booting up the computer and looking at the folder: 'There's a separate folder with my porn in in as one of the three main sub-folders... craaaaaaaaaaap."
On a completely different note: Who here likes 'Superheroes' by The Script? I do. I find it catchy as hell. But has anyone really listened to the lyrics? They clearly sing 'Superhumans' and not 'Superheroes'. Artistic liberties I guess, but come on!
That's literally all I have to say.

If I was one of the repair guys, I would've named the folder something like, "Stuff you're probably embarrassed about but really shouldn't be because we've seen worse," just to troll you.
Unless you were the 'worse', of course.

I used to work in an IT-ish setting and fix personal computers on the side for friends. Trust me, there is always more, and it is always worse, and the stuff I saw was pretty tame compared to what I know is out there. For someone who actually does that stuff for a living... Well, let's just say I understand the sentiments behind these (shamelessly taken from a forum I used to lurk in).
