*Insert cool blog title here* (Also AF sequel?!) · 9:37pm Aug 11th, 2014
Hello! How have you fine people been doing?
So, it's been about a week, actually like five days, since Amor Fati (I'll use AF for now on) ended and I'm pretty bored. Of course, I've been helping with another story somewhere in the magical land of Google Docs, but I actually haven't wrote anything since the last chapter. I also got a very, very lovely comment about the ending from user, Multiplex_24. Here's part of it:
Now, I personally would not mind an epilogue that would cover when Clyde and the Canterlot basketball team makes it to the finals next year and wins, and then maybe a time skip with the futures of Clyde, Rarity, the remainder of the Mane Five, and Tyrone, and anyone else if you feel like it. And, for bonus points, into the future when Clyde does propose to Rarity and their marriage, though I won't push you to do that, you already made a wonderful story as is.
-Multiplex_24 (Check the story yourself! I'm not lying about this!)
So that got me thinking...
How many people would actually enjoy random stories that take place after the events of AF? It could be anything, really. Like maybe some random events from the summer leading up to next year. Maybe next year's Fall Formal/Spring Fling. Hell, even a wedding! AF has build quite a setting and there's still plenty of things to write about, like maybe the return of Clyde's rival, Trenderfoot?! (Might be iffy on this one.)
So let me know! Equestria Girls isn't really a popular setting on this site, but I feel it should definitely be wrote about more. I had an extremely fun time writing AF and wouldn't decline on going back to that timeline.
Have a good rest of the day/night/week/month -- you get the picture.
I think that's a cool idea! A highlight reel of their relationship and major events in their lives! I'd read it. You definitely have a knack for writing these kinds of stories.
2362030 Thanks and I guess you're right! All my stories involve Clyde and Rarity and every story someone writes that has Clyde, contain them together as well!
I guess I can write a good relationship.
Dawww, you really didn't have to tag me. No, really! I'm blushing so hard just reading the part I'm tagged in, I'm redder than a tomato!
And I am glad you are taking my suggestion into consideration, and hopefully soon it will bear fruit! *cough* Provided it gets enough support *cough*.
Yes! Do iit!!
And if you do, don't forget to get those lulz in there! When you added comedy in AF I laughed so hard every time.
2362387 No, I loved your comment so much! One of the reasons why was the proposal suggestion. I'll tell you something, you might want to read the series I made before AF, The Poncho Chronicles. You might enjoy a certain scene.
2362537 I'll make sure there are funny moments. I know Tyrone was mostly the comedy guy though, as Clyde is the serious one.
2362639 Actually, kinda beat ya to it. I already finished the first one, and I'm just about finished with the one in South Beach, but I wanted to finish reading Dan Vs. The Magic of Friendship first, and if said scene was Clyde giving Rares his jacket in the first PC, well, I loved it already.
2362658 Well, it gets better.
Clyde's role in the PC is tied with Rarity the whole time.
2362670 I figured so, since in both PC's that I've read, Clyde is pretty much always with Rarity, which makes for one happy Rarity x OC fan (which, sadly, good Rarity x OC stories are hard to come by recently. The best one I found, Love is a Rarity, is sadly VERY inactive.).
And it gets better, you say? Well, you peaked my curiosity.
2362694 Well hopefully you found Amor Fati lovely enough to make it one of your favorite OCxRarity stories.
All my stories involve Clyde and Rarity and people seem to like them so I'm still here! I found what I'm good at writing about.
2362639
Well, not always. Heh, I remember I made quite the racket laughing at something during the new years party, but I don't remember what it was...
2362760 Tyrone was the main character for that chapter, except for the last part with Clyde and Rarity. It was probably him as Clyde was busy getting ready to, you know.
