Dear Princess Celestia, after reading your letter this morning about my profiles of both Princess Luna and Nightmare Moon I was shocked to see you wished me to continue. I understand the physicians have given you detailed reports on my health since the battle, but never the less will endeavor to make this reply as complete as possible. As you've requested I have tried my best to break my own details down with the least amount of influence from my ego. Barb laughed at me quite a bit I must note as she says she has never seen me stare at a mirror for such a long time... As always, your Faithful Student Dusk Shine.

Scars or accessories? None appear to remain since my encounter with the Element's of Harmony; I am not much for accessories but have a pierced left ear, currently still wearing the Sun-stone earring you gave me with your Cutiemark engraved into it.
Close relationships: Shinning Armor is my Elder Brother by 5 years and I envy his courage and resilience; Barb is like a little sister to me, and while Dad and Shinning Armor helped me raise her since mom was so busy with work, it's really Princess Cadence who we owe the most thanks to; Princess Cadence was my childhood foalsitter and an inspiration for my need to take care of others; Princess Celestia is my Teacher and a powerful example of the very best in people I strive to copy; My mother is Twilight Velvet and father is Night Light both work hard as Princess Celestia's Ambassador's to the Griffon Kingdom; Recently I spent three days learning the real value and meaning of friendship with five very special mares. Applejack is a proud Earth pony with dedication to family and friends as well as deep Honesty I can only admire; Pinkie Pie is a free spirit whose one true goal in life is to make others happy, something she puts days of effort into with a boundless energy; Rainbow Dash is a competitive athlete who if a little lazy, more then makes up for it by working harder then anyone when something important comes up; Fluttershy is a kind soul trapped in a fragile heart, I plan to spend my time here aiding the other three girls in trying to help her come out of her shell; And Rarity... is a very special pony on my mind quite often...**
Personality: I have the most trouble with this so let me try to be honest about it. I am a dedicated student of anything interesting in the world, and every time I think I've seen it all another day passes and a new idea comes along capturing my rapped attention. Protective of my friends, and competitive with my brother. I am a little egotistical about my education and have caught myself trying to push my knowledge on others when they don't need it and will try to work on this.
Skills and Quirks:
Magic – Having been tested extensively at Star Swirl University, its been found I have a magical talent unlike any seen in centuries. Unlike most unicorns my magic doesn't center around my talent but rather my talent is magic itself. So far I have yet to find a spell another Unicorn can preform that I can not copy after one or two viewings.
Organizer – No list goes unchecked, no situation can't be broken down into steps. I see everything in the world as a series of checklists to be mastered one step at a time with precision and order.***
Student – No research too obscure, not topic too boring. I devour knowledge both practical and of only historic merit with equal glee... leading to:
Egghead / Bookworm – Dash may be right. I get caught up in a good book far too easily and quickly spend days on end inside a novel just for fun. With my new-found friends I must work harder on this as I wouldn't want to forget an important event like one of their birthdays just because I got caught up in some random textbook.
Leader – I only include this because of your own letter this morning. You are right, when things got tough I was able to rally together exactly the people I needed with the skills required to get though it all. And even Fluttershy admits I was able to talk her into following us when her natural urge that night was to hide under her kitchen table.
* - Apperently this last week of study and then the mission into the Everfree Forest took a toll on my body. I promise when I'm back to full strength I will have Rainbow Dash and AJ help me get back into proper shape.
** - Not that kind of special somepony. Not yet at least...
*** - The Tests for OCD came back positive... But that's a good thing right? It means we know why I'm always trying to keep things organized.

I also noticed that you confused 'quite' with 'quiet' (in the first paragraph). Don't worry too much, I see this mistake often. Another common mistake I see (the second most common) is 'to', 'too' and 'two' (in the Egghead/Bookworm section).
At least Dusk admits he has OCD.
2368176 Rarity is simply trying to be Shy's friend and not pushing her from out of her shell. For reasons private to herself, she understands not wanting to share everything with others.
Ha ha. I hate grammar / spelling some days. Its far too often that you get to busy and don't notice the difference between two very smiler words that make a sentence make no sense.
And yeah, Dusk is good at laying the facts down bare on paper. Even when it's admitting he has a bit of a problem letting things go.
