Writing Resumed! Health update · 5:36pm Jun 29th, 2017
So I had thought I did this a week ago, but since it's clear I didn't, I'd better do it sooner then later!
I have started working on the story again!
*Listens to the sound of crickets roaring*
Okay okay, now that that's done with! I mostly started by running though notes left by my editors and fixing major issues left over from before I went to the hospital. Nothing to show for it yet, but it's a start and hopefully soon I will have something worthwhile to show for it.
On the hospital note: I've been out for nearly two weeks now and am feeling tons better. I'm up to walking a 4km stretch every day that is most of my old walk, shorted a tiny bit due to construction. My muscle and endurance are both shot from my time in the hospital but I feel a ton better. It turns out I had a pneumonia as well as untreated high blood pressure, leftover from when I used to be 450+ pounds. The pneumonia has been delt with, and I now have pills for the blood pressure, and I recently dropped under 250 pounds so I'm feeling proud and wearing size 38 pants for probably the first time since I was 13 or so years old.
Anyways! That's my general update, thanks for all your support and well wishes, and I hope to have new writing done for you all soon.
Oh, and I go back to work on sunday, so hopefully I can use that to help make progress with my writing.
Glad to hear you're doing better.
Just message me whenever you finish the chapter and I'll edit it with what time I can find as a few things have gotten hectic for me. I can still edit and all that, it just might take a bit longer on my end depending on what crops up when you need me.
Take care, friend.
4586677 Thanks man, that's great to hear even if your life has gotten crazy. Glad to have the support and hope you can whip things into line one way or another!
You can't see it, but I'm doing a happy dance right now.
Great to see that you feel better my man. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Really looking forward to your progress of the story.
