Rainbow Power, and Fallout! (also update) · 9:24am Aug 9th, 2014
So I saw this pic a week or two ago, and thought to myself "oh my, there is no way this will ever happen in my stories ever."
...But seriously, it won't. At least, not in my canon timeline, lol.
And I suppose this is just a little reminder that I plan on making my own Fallout: Equestria spinoff, featuring a descendant of Wisp as the main character. Probably novel-length like Fireflank, too. I've worked out a little more about it, and very much look forward to starting work on it for real. I doubt that'll happen for some time (partly because it's still a very undeveloped idea, partly because I want to know exactly or mostly what I intend to do with it before I start, and partly because it could quite easily spoil something or another about Fireflank early on). If you're interested in knowing, miss main character will have a little mental problem or two. Split personality, anyone? ;)
Besides, who doesn't want a protagonist named Lackadaisy? (friend to the main character)
But indeed, as for Fireflank... Well, I kind of stayed up to 10 in the morning talking with Everhopeful, mostly regarding upcoming story events and a character or two. Let's say that establishing some more information and plot things leaves me feeling more motivated, yes? I just now finished the damnable, though however short, transition to the main event of the chapter. It only took about 4 days.
I'm still playing Skyrim, but with more than 40 hours logged in and having plenty of time to get situated with my gear and skills and all, I'm not on it constantly. And now that I'm finally done with that cursed bottleneck segment and can get to an actual scene, I'm excited to actually get some crap done. It's going to be really fun, I should think. I haven't started yet, so I can't make any promises, but I think this might bring me back into the groove for a bit. It'll be a big scene and there's another after it, but... I can see clearly now, the rain has gone.
Cheers, everyone. Here's hoping for prompt chapter completion.
