Why yes, this is me wearing the amazing, hand-sewn pony ears and horn of my OC that Chasm03 made me for Galacon.
And that is M. A. Larson, wearing those very same pony ears and horn. And not just for a photo, no, he actively came up to me during the charity auction and asked if he could borrow them to auction off a pencil sketch of Peter New he'd drawn.
In the eternal words of Jan(Animations): "How cool is that."
Further Galacon awesomeness includes:
-A Baby Luna plushie I bought from Pinku
(Look at her wittle tiara and her big soulful eyes and her teeny tiny wingsies *squee*)
-A rare and valuable Derpy misprint card I got at the Pixelkitties panel, from the artist herself.

(Not the real one, but they sold a pony plush of him at the auction, and there hasn't been a single goal at Galacon since then)

Well, everypony's different, I suppose, but I really believe that Galacon can provide an awesome time for nearly all kinds of bronies.
2347900 eh last year was a little better. better panels, more stuff. though this year it was a lot more socializing (for my case) then last year, but most due to pokemon and MLP CCG.
Though it was perverse how expensive the plushies were this year....

Not so much that I'm not a crowd guy (it does have something to do with it, mind), but I just wouldn't see the point. I'm not as fond of the creators as most people are, I don't have any pony merch, nor any real reason to get some. Plus, travelling alone, to a different country, to be surrounded by people who may have Fan Myopia, is not my idea of a good time.
Now, if someone were to write a book on how these ponies are made, animated, or even how the toys are 3D modelled, that would be somewhat of an incentive. If they got . But on the whole, as it stands... why? I don't have that many followers, compared to the big shots. There's no real reason for me to go on a panel, I'd drag chaotism into the conversation anyways.
Or, if one might be able to hound the voice actors to do some other lines, like here:

I'm excited. That means I might spend time with at least two other brony friends from this site at next year's convention.
