Prompt request: How to dun Goofed: Sherriff's Office Edition

As some of you might have already heard (or promoted), Estee is doing a contest. And not any contest but a one that both expects strange and out-there crossover ideas as well as (hopefully) doesn't give a leg up to those who write stories of high drama or deep romance but instead focuses

Alphabittle and Bridlewood - Reading between the lines of the Gen 5 Movie

Alphabittle may be the named character in the new MLP movie with the least direct characterization. Compared to the CEO of arguably the earth pony city's biggest company and the literal queen of the Pegasi, being the owner of a local teahouse immediately leaves him behind the other two side pony faction 'leaders' just in terms of impact, reach and presumably backstory. All we really learn about

    IT'S ALIIIIIIIIVE

Two in Exile has a new chapter.
And it took me only 23 months less than two years to finish it.

Sunny Days has threatened to motivate me into a weekly update schedule, so let's hope the next chapter will come out before the end of the year month.

Prompt request: How to dun Goofed: Sherriff's Office Edition · 8:58pm Jan 19th, 2022

As some of you might have already heard (or promoted), Estee is doing a contest. And not any contest but a one that both expects strange and out-there crossover ideas as well as (hopefully) doesn't give a leg up to those who write stories of high drama or deep romance but instead focuses on traditional cartoon silliness.

Sadly my first idea of a bemused and beleagured Sunset Shimmer getting annoyed to the point of cartoonish violence by The Dover Boys was cruelly shot down by both the first and second rule of the contest (That's a violation!).
Luckily though my second idea and a quick foray into Wikipedia revealed that the Goofy "How To..." animations come from exactly the time period that is intended to be crossed over. And not just that, but the contest is open to both G4 and G5.

So here's where you come in: I got an anthropomorphic dog, Sprout Cloverleaf and Hitch Trailblazer all ready and geared up to do their very best (or least-worst) to explain some as of yet undecided concept to the audience, and you're the ones to bury them in a prompt pile of those concepts or a conceptual crush of prompts. As many as you want, as silly as you want, as elaborate and involved as you want. We're running a cross-promotional with ACME Industries so money is no[t my] problem!

So toss me your prompts for "How To... (write a crossover story)" and maybe one or even more than one lucky winner will inspire me enough to make it a (fictional) reality, or a real fiction. Unless FOME comes across this blog because he's one of the judges and whatever he suggests will presumably be worth bonus points.

Well, I don't recall whether I was a follower from five years ago, but I was on the website five years ago and am currently both a follower of yours and still alive, so... that's something? :D

As for ideas, hm. Well, the most obvious one is probably "How to Be a Sheriff", but I'll mention it just in case.
..."How to Catch a Unicorn (Guest Starring Izzy Moonbow!)"? (Presumably, of course, the unicorn is the only one who doesn't end up caught.)
...I don't seem to be thinking of any other ideas for this at the moment, sorry. Good luck, though!

Well, no matter how long it has been, thank you for commenting anyway.

I've since decided to fully embrace the meta and make my story "How To Do A Cartoon Crossover".
That said, it will feature a few smaller videos including, of course, The Maretime Bay's Sheriff's Guide and a Canterlogic Product Presentation, so feel free to keep suggesting things if you think of them and they might still slip into it as well for a scene.

Heh, thanks. :)

Ah, I hope that goes well!
And I don't have any more ideas for you at the moment, seems like, sorry, but thanks.

Well, I'm three pages in and neither Goofy nor ponies have yet made an appearance so everything's going right as planned. :coolphoto:
