Entering the Equestria Daily Summer Writing Competition · 9:24am Aug 3rd, 2014

Hi all! I'm very excited to share with you all that I'm entering the Equestria Daily Summer Writing Competition! It's my first ever fanfic competition participation so I'm quite excited.

The prompt for this contest is quite interesting. It's - Write a story about ponies... from a non-pony's point of view.

If you're interested in seeing my entry, here it is - Let's Pretend, a fun story about the Pie sisters and a fun-filled afternoon during which they ventured deep into the black liquorice jungles and dark chocolate swamps of the Amarezipan River in search of the Lost City of El Chimichanga in search of the fountain of endless chocolate. But they quickly find that friendships can be found even in the unlikeliest of places, or even things, but anything's possible when you're playing Let's Pretend.

The writers amongst you should definitely check out the competition and give it a go. It's a fun prompt with lots of possibilities so don't pass up a chance to show off your skills and creativity! And the non-writers amongst you - maybe this is your chance to start! If not then go check out the Fimfiction Group for the competition and all the entries so far. There are some really interesting takes on the prompt worth checking out.

As for other things, work on Legendary Legends is progressing well. For those of you waiting on the 1KVM update, the most realistic estimate I can give you is sometime in the week after next, unfortunately. Real life is really shatting on me royally right now.

Best of luck!

2342643 Thank you! :D Feel like entering yourself? I'd love to see an entry from you.

2342654 Nah, too busy with Supersymmetry. Thanks again for favoriting Greene Fields, by the way!

... y u no comment?:raritycry:

2342664 Mainly because I'm one of those readers whose comments generally don't amount to anything more than 'LOL AWESOMESAUCE MOAR PLS' or equivalent. Your comments make mine look as mature as an 11 year old's. I'm sure you'd rather not have that on your comments page. :twilightblush:

Anyhow, you're a good writer. If you put in 1500 words or so you'd at least have a shot at the prize. If not then you'd get some exposure from the competition announcement.
