Earlier today, Niban-destikin officially left the Fandom.
After the closing down of "AskPrincessMolestia", this is yet another great artists that has left the compulsive part of our beloved strain of addiction.
Personally, that makes me a bit sad. I mean... I get it. I lost my spunk for MLP several times. But the urge to finish my projects here or a silly idea has usually called me back.
Anyways, I wish the guy all the luck in the world.
PS: Its not as if I would ever receive any kind of fanart from him (OR MY READERS! HINTHINTHINT)
PPS: Latest Chapter of Between Day and Night is on its way to the beta-reader. Writing on the planning already
Complaining about crazy people in the fandom, I see. Lotta people out there that don't seem to have the perspective to separate the nutters from the rest of the crowd. I guess it's an artifact of how bad the human brain is at statistics--our brains' first approximation is that the nutters must make up the same proportion of the fandom as their noise does.
Today's lesson: your sane-person comments matter. Leave comments! The sanity you save could be your own.
When things like this happen, I prefer to think about the positives. Sure someone left, and it's sad, but I just learned about five other new artists (or musicians/writers/youtube people) that I've never seen/heard before.
