Well... This Sucks. · 7:23am Jul 23rd, 2014
For those of you who don't follow Bad_Seed_72, she recently made a blog post which explained how she doesn't feel as interested in the fandom as she used to be. And because of that, she's leaving the site, as well as her proofreading duties.
All I have to say, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, is that I wish her nothing but the best. Ever since the first day I met her, Bad_Seed_72 has been one of the biggest fans of my story Brushed Away, and gave me the best praise and criticisms my writing could ask for. Not only did she say my story was one of the best she EVER read, but she also offered to proofread my work without any hesitation. And since then, that awesome gal managed to look through over 400,000 words of gay pony stuff (both M/M and Lesbian), and ended up being an awesome friend.
She also gave me some of the best publicity when it came to finding new readers. She talked about multiple stories I wrote in her blogs, kept my stuff on her front page for others to see, and put me in her Top Ten writers as number THREE! I know there's a bunch of other things I can bring up, but it all comes down to one basic fact: Bad_Seed_72 is one of the best people I ever met on this site. Period.
I already sent her an email about how awesome she is, and how I wish her the best of luck in the future. She deserves to be happy, and I won't stop her if this site is holding her back.
Anyways! Because Bad_Seed_72 is leaving, I have a pretty big issue now:
I NEED A NEW PROOFREADER
That's right! Brushed Away 2, as well as Private Moments, both need a well-versed proofreader (or maybe a few) to look through and fix anything I might have missed before putting it up on the site! Are you good at writing? Are you such a Grammar Nazi that your rants need German subtitles? Do you want to read my newest chapters the instant I have them written out?
If so, then send me a message if you want to be a proofreader for my stories! I might even take more than one if needed.
Also: three other things.
1. Private Moments has a third chapter written, was was sent to my proofreader for editing. I don't know if she'll finish it, but I just want to clarify that a third chapter IS written! Also, I'd love to get a new proofreader, because I have some steamy ideas for number 4...
2. I'm about halfway through writing chapter 20 of Brushed Away 2, so get hyped, people! And the sooner I get a new proofreader, the quicker it'll be up on the site.
[UPDATE] Chapter 20 is officially completed! Which means my need for a proofreader is even bigger than before! Do you want me to keep my fans waiting?
DO YOU?!?
3. Look at this new fanart!
This sketch of Troy was made by Ariellift on Tumblr, and looks fantastic!
Sidekick on Tumblr drew and colored this one of Troy and Canvas as part of a commission stream he did. I love the style, and I think he needs more recognition on Tumblr!
Same sketch, but a recoloring I did myself. I'm still developing my skills in digital recoloring, but Sidekick has been a great teacher in technique and skill. Thanks, dude!
AHH SHIT! She was your proofreader!
...and I am behind on your fics.
I might be able to get into contact with some peeps, let me ask them tomorrow and see if they can offer any assistance. Can't offer any promises.

That would be awesome! Thanks a bunch!
Aww Thats sad. Im really glad though that you´re taking things calmly and still having an awesome friend from it!
Now, I would love to help... But there are a few issues with the mere concept of me as a proof reader.
1. Im not a Native English Speaker.
2. As you can see in the previous sentence surely, I am not a perfect speller either.
3. I would spend too much time giggling like a silly fanboy over your story rather than actually fixing gramatical errors... I think
This really sucks. I wish I could help but I only know of one editor but I haven't heard from him in a month. Well I wish you luck on finding a good proofreader
As much as I would like to read your stuff before everyone else gets to, I doubt you would want me as an editor. I finished my first fic a week or so ago. It was described as "a desert void of commas."
