I went on the MLP forums for the first time in a while to look at some old topics, and came upon a user named Justanotherbrony. I wasn't too close to him, but we had some communication. Last year he was awaiting the finishing of my Scootaloo fanfic, my first one on this site, and his anxious waiting was what really pushed me to get my head out my butt and just sit down and finish it. He was the first to read it and comment on it, and I kept updating him on how close I was until it was done.
It really sucks that he felt he was so depressed he had to kill himself. Troubles with his parents and losing one of his friends to suicide was too much for him, and he ended his life.
If it hadn't been for his encouragement at my start here I probably would never have become as popular as I am now. I might never have finished the story. May he have peace now.
I'm so sorry. the death of another is never easy, especially when that one gave your great motivation. But just because he's gone doesn't mean that motivation is to. that lives on with you. and he's routing you on from wherever he is now.

2299368 He helped me finish my first work, and I've pushed on from their. I think why it hit me so hard is because of an unfortunate coincidence. I recently received a review for the story that was very kind and complimentary. I decided I'd like to submit it to Equestria Daily to see if it can get featured, so I printed it out and have been making corrections so it looks really nice. Right as I'm finishing it up is when I read the news so that was like an emotional punch in the gut. This story he helped me to finish has been the most popular of my works by far and it introduced me to some great users on here, like Flutter_Bat, Kenshinryu, and Dustin Lange.

I can understand that, he's like what really pushed you to where you are now, some others you've met, some things you've done. May not have happened if it weren't for him.
Oh by Zeus, I'm sorry to hear that man. I had an uncle that committed suicide when I was a little kid, so I know the pain of losing someone that way. Let's just hope that he's a peace and his soul is in paradise.

He even has an obituary for him there, and it would be pretty grimy to not tell the people that had been trying to encourage him to stay alive that he hadn't gone through with it. I don't believe they're the same user.
