    Words for the dead.

I've made a few friends on here. People I think of outside this site. People who's conversation I value, who's name and face I know.

One of these souls is no longer with us.

Late in February TheMyth passed away from medical complications due to an infection.

Signal boost: Mission to the pony planet

So one of my editors has finally launched a story they've been writing on for years. If you enjoy reading in the EQG setting it's a fun story. Go check out: Mission to Pony Planet.

HotRS, question to the alicorns. · 5:10am Jun 24th, 2014

Question: Does it bother you that ponies write erotic stories about you?

Celestia:
Upset? No, It is flattering. I even make a point to read anything the makes it to the window displays at the book store. Popular literature is a window into the herd-mind of my little ponies. I learn more about how ponies view me reading those books, than anywhere else.

Luna:
It’s awkward at times. These things didn’t exist before. I don’t mind the books: I own more than I would care to admit. It’s the dreams that can get a bit ... interesting. Ponies have fantasies about us, and that’s to be expected, but these books feed those fantasies. Any given night I can find a dozen mares or stallions dreaming of my sister or myself. Walking in on that is as every bit as uncomfortable as you think it is. That said, it has it’s perks too.

Twilight:
Have you read that dribble? I mean, they don’t even bother to do any research! Celestia is practically my mother for crying out loud. I wouldn’t mind, if they bothered to just try and write something plausible.

Cadance:
I think they are healthy, as long as ponies remember to live their own lives. These book make love look easy, and sex magical. It's a prefect world, where everything works out how the author thinks it should. Escapism is good, but in small doses. If one of these book stirs a pony's heart to go out and find love; they can wright me doing anything they like. I fear though, that they set a standard that can never be reached.
