So it's been awhile, hasn't it?
You may or may not be wondering what the heck I've been doing with my life the past couple of months... the short answer is, I've been busy. I believe that I told many of you guys about the Comic Project that I'm working on known as Rogue Diamond and that's been eating up a lot of my writing time. Pretty much 3/5 times that I go to write, I write some of that, and while I try to write as much as possible, things come up, life happens, blah f@#king blah, comic has taken up my time.
But it's a Sparity Comic, so go check it out if you're missing your FlimFlam Sparity fix.
Now... for some rather bad news...
I've got to put some stories to rest, and after a year of no updates. I am very sad to say that Their Story is officially cancelled. You can think whatever you want about that. All I can say is I'm really sad to see it get cancelled, and I wish that I had the drive to still write it. This of course means that I don't have other Sparity heavy stories in my head, but I feel that I just have to be honest with you guy about this. I just ain't getting it written. I also need to say that the haters did not cause this, as I have stated that I don't care what they think about it, and they were unable to see the bigger picture forming. So if you're sad about that, and want to unsubscribe from me, I understand. I bear you no ill will.
Second one getting the boot is Reversing Hearts, again... just no will to write that one anymore...
When We Were Young, while not being cancelled, is sort of in a grey area. I poke around that one a bit, and since it's roughly half over, I think I'd be able to get it done eventually... but don't be surprised if this goes the way of Their Story... (again, sorry about that)
Now, regarding Unholy Grail... I'm just going to crank that final chapter out ASAP and get that story all wrapped up. I understand that it's little compensation compared to all that other bad news... but it's something, right?
Weekend Farmhand for Applejack is still going strong, and I popped out a chapter for that not too long ago. So that one is safe.
On a Final Note, regarding Lamp, that Aladdin/Pony Parody I mentioned at the end of Beauty and her Spike, That's also still in the works. My plan with that one (and all future My little Disney fics I do) is to wait until it's 75% complete, then release it and update it on a weekly basis. This way, it eliminates all the stress of trying to rush it.
tl;dr version: Comic takes all the time, Their Story and Reversing Hearts canned :(, When we were Young maybe..., Unholy Grail will get finished, Farmhand is safe as fudge, Lamp will be out but may take some time, And I will have a fun little Sparity for you guys soon.

I am really sad to hear Their Story is gone. I was really into that story and wanted to see where it was going -sigh- well it happens sometime. I am just broken hearted to hear it wont live up to the greatness i knew it was.

I'm miss Their Story, had a lot of potential.
It's sad to see Their Story is canceled. It was a good story while it lasted. Maybe one day, I'll try to do a reboot of it, but for now, that's not going to happen.
A slightly related question, anything on a sequel to For the Ones we Love?

This was honestly really hard for me to do, but it was the right thing to do in the end, better than dicking everyone around for another year of no updates and giving them false hope. I really didn't want to do this but this way I actually have some closure, and I feel like a big weight has been lifted off of my chest.
There will be future Sparity, that I can promise, and once I get everything under better wraps, I think you'll enjoy what I've got in store.
