I regret to inform anyone interested in my work that I am not going to return to or finish my two current fics, Proxy and Dammit I Was Young, and that I am leaving the fandom and show behind. I am aware I said I intended on finishing Proxy, but I just cannot force myself to anymore. I am no longer interested in the content of the show, much less so writing my own; I am pretty much disgusted with the direction the show and majority of the fanbase have taken overall (no one in particular on this site; a lot of the feedback has been great, but what the fans want the show to be and what I liked about it are two very different things) and no longer wish to associate myself with it. I apologize to anyone thoroughly invested in these stories, but I have no more passion for fanfiction. I appreciate everyone's support. It is unfair of me to make people think I am working on the fic anymore; I don't see it happening.
It's a shame this is probably the most popular thing I will ever do on the internet, when it's the thing I spent the least amount of effort on and had the littlest passion for to begin with.
Again, thank you all so much for your support. If people desperately want to know how the stories end I'd be happy to tell them privately. I even had the final chapter of Proxy written, but not enough in between to justify posting it.

I hope that you will not delete your account or stories. Bummer to see someone go, but if you feel it is your better interest to do so, I wish you success in the next endevour you take up.

I'm sorry to hear that but I'll respect your decision (instead of trying to change your mind with hypnotism only to fail comically and hypnotize myself instead).
Though if you don't mind me asking what about the shows direction has caused such a change of heart? Granted I thought Tirek's appearance would've had a bit more build up and perhaps even a passing mention of Megan from G1 (for instance here's the current version of the story Twilight might've read and here's what really happened), not to mention the power-up scenes for the Mane 6 sort of......well.....burns the retina's.
Also, if it isn't too much to ask, after my last question, I'd really like to know how Proxy would've ended.

Why not just publicly post how Proxy would have ended? if its over anyway, it was an awesome story while it lasted. And good luck in your life.
