Comic Book Starring Lois Lane · 12:08am Jun 5th, 2014
No, not that one. That one made her look like an incompetent bitch.
HUZZAH!
Okay, confession time. I’m not exactly sure what kind of content this is going to produce, or even if it’s available for purchase as of late. I’m just in it for the character designs.
Because seriously, HOLY SHIT.
LOOKIT CLARK HE DRESSES LIKE A BIG BLUE ADORABLE MARSHMALLOW
And Lane rocks poofy sleeves LIKE A GAWDDAMN BOSS.
I’m also not very sure what kind of time period this is set in. I mean, in one art piece they’re driving around in a car from the forties…
And in the next one, they’re stopping for a group of kids and holy shit one of them has an iPod.
I’m kinda confused. Here, look at some more concept art with me. Maybe we can figure all of this out.
I’m not even showing you half of these. Go to the creator’s tumblr blog for more. You could possibly figure out something that I’ve missed.
*low whistle*
Also, yes. Big blue marshmallow.
I don't know how to feel about Lex Luthor having a mustache...
I really, really like the style!
I wish I could buy that in actual comic form.

The second-to-last picture is posted at a much later date. It doesn't really look like he keeps it.
I especially like how Clark is more hunched up than Superman. That second picture from the bottom looks more like "Superman in glasses" in part because of how he isn't slumped in on himself.

What about the one where Lois is wearing a baseball cap? Clark looks pretty normal there, and that's minus the slouch.

Yes, but that's Clark operating at maximum lovable goofball capacity. The other picture is all "RESOLVE!" Demeanor is a big part of it as well.

I do like Doomsday's design, and Dakseid looks hella awesome. Zod I'm kinda iffy on.

I also like how he has a different hair style as Clark, and wears bulkier clothes. It looks more like an actual disguise/secret identity than normal. The different posture, as you mentioned, also helps.
Hey, there are still cars like that in the real world today. They're called "vintage" and "classics". And Clark looks like the guy who likes vintage things. Just look at his Fedora.

*Drools* Do want!
That i the most beautiful version of Bizarro I have ever seen.
sweeeet
Getting more of a "Black Adam" vibe from Zod. Probably the pose, or I'm just losing it. Either way, loving the art style!
Would have loved this reaction to Superman barging in like that.
"i DID know you superpowered idiot! I simply kept quiet about it. Your life is your own. But since you seem SO dead set on berating me over not shouting it out at the top of my lungs, how about I go ahead and publish your true identity? No, no! This is what YOU wanted isn't it? To recognize that my friend Clark is actually superman right?"
