Figured i'd share a little background for them because there is a story behind how i came to use them.
While i molded them to how i saw fit character and story wise, they are not completely original. They were both inspired by an art blog that was once active called SexySpitfire. The blog was run by an artist that has long been MIA named PluckyNinja. Here is the blog: Sexy Spitfire

Obviously i changed their colors, and i made Starry Skies less jeery more overly stoic and blunt. As you can see though, I went with Nightshade's personality, only i turned the dial up WAY past 11 with how creepy she is.
Descent was NOT in the blog, i took him from the first episode of the show (one of the random shadowbolts trying to sway dash)
Plucky had a male shadowbolt named Charger:
But i didn't want to just take characters from someone else, so i went with Descent instead.
I never found out what happened to Pluckyninja, but if he/she ever shows up again i'd love to share my work so he/she can see the characters inspired by the blog.
I follow that blog, and hope it will return as well. His mod blog hasn't been updated for the same amount of time.
But only time will tell.
Oh, I love that blog! I hope he will upload the blog some day.

He was last active when he uploaded his last image, which was in april. He said in a comment from back in march that he have been using Tumblr and Deviantart very little lately, since he "hit a creative wall" a few months back. Yeah i've been to his page, but not recently. I love his art style. In fact a few of my fav Soarindash images were made by him
I'll have to see if i can catch him sometime, i'd love to get his opinion on how i "amplified" Nightshade
