The Prequal to FAM(Title pending) aka, my gift to my dahling readers. · 2:26am May 25th, 2014

This is the way, the world ends.

Finn crouched down in the shallow trench, looking over the blood red sky as shots hailed past him. Pulling out a walkie-talkie with his now mechanical arm, he pressed the button and spoke.

“BMO, where’s that support?!” Finn yelled through the device as an explosion knocked up some loose dirt.

“I’m sorry Finn,” the other end of the walkie-talkie chirped back. “But we’ve run into our own problems!” BMO said, her voice accompanied by ray gun fire and the sound of shattering hardware. “We can’t hold out for long, send h-”

Finn pressed the button once more. “BMO?” Static, “BMO, come in, do you read!?” Finn grinded his teeth and roared with a deep primal anger. “Glob Dang it!” he screamed as he smashed the device to the ground.

“Finn, Finn!” a voice called out from behind.

Turning around, Finn was met with Cupcake Guy, clutching his arm, a single streak of liquid chocolate flowed down the length of his bicep.

“They’ve breached the southern post; we haven’t got much time until-uh.” His sentence was cut short as a green ray burst through his frosted coated head. Falling to the cold ground with a flop.

“Cupcake Guy!” Finn screamed as his side, placing an arm under him. “Stay with me man, you’re gonna be alright!”

Cupcake guy shook his head with a weak smile and reached under his wrapper. He pulled out a gold pendent and placed it into Finns hand.

“Tell Lady and the kids, I’m sorry I couldn’t make it back.” With that, the brave pastry drew his last breath, and slipped into the eternal sleep.

Finn swallowed hard as he placed the pendent in his pocket and let go his chocolate comrade.

Finn rose to his feet and looked to his fellow trench mates. “Alright peeps, it’s now or never!” Drawing his grass blade sword his pointed to the enemy lines and shouted from the bottom of his very soul, “CHAAAAAARGE!”

As the screams erupted from the trenches, the ground tore open before their feet at the impact of each technicolored blast of energy.

As he and the remainder of the resistance drew closer and closer, his mind drifted back to that fateful day, the day that sealed the fate of Ooo forever, the first time “he saw a pony.”

Let me know what you guys think :D
