    Quick Update

I do apologize for not getting the next chapter of The Light of a Candle out, but I've been preparing for the upcoming move and just haven't made the time to write. I've been debating on which perspective to go with and it's been kind of annoying.

Chapter 20 Update (I promise, it's the last one)

Chapter is now being beaten to death like the dead horse topics we love to argue over. Pick a topic, and I'll drag out the corpse.

    Should be out tonight!

    Chapter 20 Update

3300 words so far. I haven't forgotten. There were some changes I wanted to work through for one of the characters. I was not happy with the original concept and decided to delve a bit into Greek myth for inspiration. I hope you like it when I do publish the chapter. It's not done. There's one last bit to do for it before I ship it off to my editors for ridicule. I do apologize for the delay, but

MDC Update and Other Story News... · 4:38pm May 17th, 2014

First of all, chapter sixteen of MDC is roughly half written and already undergoing some changes (I need to script the acts better). I'm pleased with what's written for the most part, but it can be better. The story itself is right about the halfway point and it's been a joy to write. Expect another couple of weeks before the next posting. I apologize for the long window between postings, but I started playing World of Warcraft again, got a boost in hours from work, and have found myself with a girlfriend (pause for effect).

I'm going to completely re-write Nightmares of Oblivion as I have no idea where to go with the story. As of this moment, consider the story on hiatus. I apologize as I simply cannot find the motivation to continue the story with the final arc I had in mind. It needs to be redone and properly. Until I can find the motivation and re-map the story's path, I can't write it anymore. I have some ideas, but I need to set down the time to figure it out and bring the trilogy to a satisfying conculsion. This may mean re-writing some of the previous chapters in the last two books of the story. Bear with me on this.:twilightsheepish:

An Immortal Price was supposed to be a prologue of sorts for the upcoming story "Foals". It's a slice of life comedy documenting the early years of the twins Celestia has and the family atmosphere Canterlot castle picks up. Naturally, shenanigans ensue and Luna gets to be called "Woona". I just wanted an excuse to use it in a story without somepony getting blasted somewhere unpleasant by our favorite Lunar goddess. I may or may not have it linked to MDC. I'm still debating with it. Perhaps it should be its own universe. Expect the first chapter to come out this summer with a re-written version of An Immortal Price as the prologue (It might even be shortened with more modern speech. I was actually quite pleased with the premise of it.).

I hope to continue to improve and develop as a writer. Thank you all for following and reading my work! :scootangel:

Alright! Congrats on the lady friend.

If you feel as if you need to rewrite some stuff in your other stories in order to make NiO more writable, than that's absolutely fine with me. Good work always requires time.

I have yet to read An Immortal Price. I'll have to get on that!

And my friend, I've been reading your work since September when you first started writing My Little Chryssie, which remains one of my favorite stories. I constantly go back to reading it and I love it every time. I can say with certainty that in the last eight months that I've been reading your stories, I've seen a huge increase in your quality of writing. You've become really good at this, and if you keep practicing on writing, you'll be even better.

Congrats on the lady :pinkiecrazy:
